As a snowboard instructor and coach at Mammoth Mountain, I am offering my services as a babysitter in the evenings here in Mammoth Lakes, June Lake, Crowley Lake and possibly Bishop as well. I have been in the childcare business since I was a teenager, I had my start watching my neighbor's children for date night. During my bachelor's degree at UCLA I made ends meet with a nannying job in West LA, with a family that I still keep contact with. It warms my heart to see some of the kids I have helped along the way. I have CPR, Lifeguarding, Wilderness First Responder and Yoga certifications and I have taken a few courses in Early Childhood Education. It is my philosophy to find creative ways to enrich, strengthen and fine-tune traditional education. I have a masters degree in Geography from the University of Hawaii, so I am equipped to include some tutoring as well. As a life-ling learner, I strive to inspire those around me to stay curious as well.

Maggie was our sitter for about 5 years, spending time weekly with our daughter from age 4-9, and son from 0-4. During that time, she worked nights, afterschool, weekends. We brought her on vacations with us, too. She is a jack-of-all trades as a babysitter. She is capable of handling babies through teens. She drove the kids to activities. She will sing songs, cook meals, clean up afterwards, take nature walks, teach guitar or piano, play board games, and make sure they keep on schedule. Most importantly, Maggie understands kids needs, and parents' needs too!
