About Margaret

During my time as a vet assistant, I have gained excellent customer service and organizational skills. I was in charge of answering phones, scheduling our own clients as well as making appointments for other groomers. I was taught how to interact with the human clients as well as the canine ones. This helped ensure that the haircut expectations were communicated clearly. Time management was also extremely important to make sure the grooms were done safely and effectively while still maintaining strong quality. I saw some pretty difficult cases in dog grooming. For example, I saw a lot of coat neglect, flea and tick infestation, teeth neglect, ear infections, etc. I was taught how to politely re-educate the owners on the health of their dog which generally sets them in the right direction. I did this while also maintaining professionalism as I am not a certified vet and pointed the clients in the direction of appropriate medical care if needed.
