About Malia

I'd describe my personality as responsible, selfless, and fun I like working with kids because I'm passionate about helping them learn and grow. I'm looking for a job where I can make kids happy and be helpful to parents while gaining experience. I started working with kids when I was 16. I was a high school mentor at a daycare program in Marcellus. I also have both paid and unpaid babysitting experience. In my spare time, I like to cook, be outside, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am no stranger to a stressful situation, especially when it comes to children. I'm very good with deescalating tantrums gently and mediating arguments, things like that don't bother me at all. My skills include first aid, cooking and cleaning, deescalating/conflict resolution, and the energy and ability to keep kids active and entertained.
