About Makyra

Hello! My name is Mak! I'm a a bubbly 23-year-old woman who moved to Missoula from a small Montana town about a year ago! I have recently received my CDA. I started baby sitting with my sister at 13 years old to pay for our own school clothes, hobbies and sport costs! In the past for years I have worked at two Child Care Centers. One a group of 12 0-4 as well as after school kids ages 3-7. Another a group of 8 0-3 years olds. I have experience with disabilities and am in the beginning of learning sign language! I believe children learn best through play in a safe environment with trusted adults who understands their temperaments. I also believe in giving kids a good routine to practice self care as well as manners. Helping kids to solve problems on their own and being there with them teaches them responsibility and confidence. Setting up situations to push them to grow and problem solve. I can help with light house keeping and crafts as well as other things once discussed.
