About Makiah

I did babysitting jobs throughout high school for family and friends. I have also watched my sister's three children quite often (ages infant, 2, and 6). I worked as a teacher at the sunshine house for over a year and a half and at alvarium for a few months. I love helping kids learn and embrace their creative side. I am very comfortable with helping children handle any big emotions they may have. I am patient and kind, I understand different parenting styles and would love to hear about how you parent so I can better understand how to care for your child/children. I want your child/children to feel comfortable and have consistent structure. If you have pets, no problem! I also love animals and have many of my own, any animal care that needs to get done I am more than comfortable doing. I also have no problem helping out with light housework if needed (laundry, dishes, sweeping, etc.).
