About Makenzie

I've been babysitting since I was 9. Started with my moms best friend needed an emergency babysitter and I was there. Then I moved on to babysitting for many other families. The kids I have watched and helped grow ranged from a month old baby to an 11-year-old. This one family that I worked for, I consider her my baby. Her brother was 8 months old when I started working for their family. When he went down for naps I would clean, dishes, laundry, pick up toys then his little sister came along. The mom started leaving her with me at 2 months old. At church when the baby girl would start crying I would take her from her mother and calm her even rock her to sleep sometimes. I worked for them for 5 years until I moved to Missouri. When I go back to visit she still knows me and still runs to me after being gone for almost 2 years. Another experience would be a year ago I went to visit some friends. While there my old friend called and asked if I could watch her kids as she took her husband out for 3 days. I was a "full time single parent" with 3 kids for 3 days. I got them up, to school, then baseball and dance. Helped with homework, dinner, then bed. I'm more then a nanny, I'm a friend.
