About Makenna

Hello! My name is Makenna and I enjoy helping children find their creative side, enjoyments in life, and encouraging them to meet their age related milestones in anyway I am able. I will be graduating nursing school in December and hope to enter into the mother baby area of healthcare! I've worked in adult healthcare at a nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years and childcare for six years, babysitting and nannying for various families. I was involved in my mother's classroom where she taught special education from birth to 6 years old, where I enjoyed watching the children grow and achieve their goals. I would consider myself a patient and kind caregiver who wants children to feel comfortable and connected to me. I have compassion for caregiving and only want the best for my patients and children while under my care. I try every day to make those around me feel safe and able to ask me for help!
