About Makayla

Hi! I'm a very patient, reliable and caring person and I began watching over children about 7 years ago. I have experience with children ranging from two months to 15 years old. I have my Associate's Degree. I was also a lifeguard/swimming lesson instructor for 4 years, and am currently certified in CPR and First Aid by Red Cross. This last school year I have been employed as an assistant teacher at a private elementary school. During this time I have fallen in love with working with kids and have been equipped with tools and training to help elementary age children (preK-6) succeed in education. My experience will make me more than capable of providing a safe, positive environment for your children, along with the ability to aid their education by helping with homework. I also love trying new, fun activities with kiddos and have some great ways to incorporate learning into play time!
