About Makayla

Hello, my name is Makayla, and I am so excited to work with your family! I graduated in 2018 with a license in Early Childhood Development from CNM while I was still in high school. I graduated high school as Valedictorian and went on to pursue a B. S. at the University in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and Speech and Hearing Sciences. I moved to Nashville in July 2023 to attend Vanderbilt University to pursue my Master's degree to become a BCBA. The entire time I am with your child, I strive to provide quality care and interactions. I enjoy bringing fun activities, crafts, and recipes to make our time fun and engaging. I always use evidence-based practices when working with children, and my background as an RBT prepares me to work with high-energy kids and children with special needs.
