About Maisie

I have over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages in various settings. I've spent the last 2 years as a pediatric resident physician and am currently taking a break from my training (happy to share more about what this means if needed). I had my first nannying job when I was 11 years old and found it so rewarding that I've continued to take on nannying/babysitting jobs intermittently since then. Before medical school, I worked as a patient care technician (CNA) at a children's hospital. Additionally, throughout high school and college, I was a lifeguard and assistant manager at my community's swimming pool and taught group and one-on-one swimming lessons. Through these experiences, I have joyfully encountered the whole gamut of childhood behaviors, emotions, and personality types. In doing so, I have become an expert at compassionately interacting with children in a way that ensures they feel seen, accepted, supported, and safe.
