About Maggie

Hey there! I'm Maggie and I am a New York and Maine state certified special education teacher. I have four years experience tutoring and teaching children with various learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and more! I have specialized training in Lindamood-Bell reading programs and experience with various writing and math curriculum as well. I have worked in intervention and enrichment and love helping kids meet their academic goals. I meet kids where they're at and strive to make every session fun and engaging so that kids forget they're there to learn. I currently teach 8th grade at a local district and am looking to keep busy during the evenings and weekends.
