About Maeve

Hello! My name is Maeve. I have worked as an overnight camp counselor for three summers. This included planning and leading activities such as archery, swimming, sailing, kayaking, and stained glass; lifeguarding; and helping campers get ready for the day and for bed. I also helped run a math club for third and fourth grade girls to increase their confidence in their math skills and to encourage them to pursue STEM. I am applying to physical therapy school, and part of the application process is shadowing physical therapists, so I recently have been spending time shadowing pediatric physical therapists. I have learned about speech therapy, occupational therapy, and activities beneficial for cognitive and physical development, as well as how to engage with younger children (from months old to toddlers).
