About Madison

Hi! My name is Madie and I am an UNL education student looking to many for a family. While I may be young (21) I have plenty of experience both inside and outside of the classroom setting. Growing up I came from a large family and helped with my younger siblings. During my childhood my family was both an active foster family but occasionally ran a day care. As for my own experience, I began providing child care as a teenager who helped with MOPs (mothers of preschoolers, regularly babysat, volunteered several summers as a camp counselor with as many as 17 campers in my cabin, and volunteered at a camp for children for autism. As for classroom experiences I was a T. A. in high school for the third grade class, and I have taken a year of practicum classes (in classroom observation). Child care and education are truly my passions. I love providing care and getting to meet and build relationships with families and kids. I can't wait to meet your family!
