About Madelyn

Hello! I am an undergraduate student studying Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. I am currently working on my paramedic certification and will be done with this in May. I am certified in CPR, BLS, Pediatric Advanced Life support, Geriatric Emergency Medical care, AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Through my time on the ambulance and my work in hospitals I see many older people that need extra support at home. It is my belief that through this care we can prevent needless injuries and hospitalizations for your loved ones. While many older folks are more at risk for falls and chronic health conditions, it is important to maintain their sense of independence and not take away their rights simply because they are aging.
