hi! i'm 23 years old and i'm currently an RBT (behavioral therapist) for children diagnosed with autism! I have worked with kids since I was 17, it started as volunteering in the church nursery for preschool age kids. I met a child there who I still babysit- 6 years later!! when I turned 18 I began working at a preschool as an after school and summer camp teacher working with kids ranging in ages 4-13. after 6 months I got a position as a toddler teacher (for ages 1-2. 5) and fell in love with the job. I realized a short while after that I was extremely interested in children diagnosed with autism and made the switch to begin working in that field! I have experience working with kids ages 2-18 on the spectrum. i've worked with a wide range of kids including those with extreme behavioral issues, physical aggressions, self injurious behaviors etc. thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you soon!(:
