Hi! My name is Maddy! I am a soon-to-be Colorado State University graduate. I will be graduating with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Leadership and Entrepreneurial studies. I will be starting a master's program in the fall in Couple and Family Therapy. I have worked professionally as a nanny for over six years with a variety of ages (infancy-13 years old). I have grown up with a younger brother with disabilities as well as worked in various settings with children with disabilities. I love collaborating with both the children and parents to find fun and engaging activities for the children to do both indoors and outdoors. My goal as a nanny is to really get to know both the parents and children and adapt my style to best suit the needs of the child. Maddy has been our part time nanny for 3 years. We have a 7 year old boy, a 5 year old boy and a 9 month old baby girl. She is great with every age. She is punctual, dependable and trustworthy. She is a good role model and we feel confident that our children are safe in her care. She is easy to communicate with and quick to respond to requests. Beyond all of this, she goes the extra mile to engage the kids in fun and educational activities. She keeps them off of screen time and gets to know their individual likes and interests; instead of watching movies they are making "movies", forts, art projects, writing and illustrating their own books, playing outside, and all kinds fun activities. Our kids love her. She's become like a part of the family.
