Hi, my name is Maddie & I have 6 years experience with nannying & child care. I graduated from the UW with a Bachelor's in Communication & a minor in Education. I have found nannying to be a fun & rewarding flexible job during life transitions. I was a substitute teacher for Tacoma Public Schools, but since having my son in June, I am looking for nanny jobs again so I can keep him with me. I nannied for one family steadily for two & a half years while in college until the grandmother decided she would be the primary caregiver. I still love visiting them from time to time. Then I nannied for a family that had one 4-year-old. This was over a period of seven months until mom was able to work out a schedule to watch him while dad was working. After that I moved to Florida & nannied for a family with a 4-month-old & a 3-year-old until they moved states due to military orders. I love being a helping hand for other household chores as well! Maddie helped me with my 4 year old son. I'm a police officer, I don't trust people easily. She definitely won my son and I over. She was incredibly accommodating to my hectic schedule. Shifts starting at 5am to then the next day starting at 7pm, she was flexible and always early. My son absolutely loved her. She was great at getting him out and doing new activities. Before planning something new she would always reach out to make sure I was comfortable. She was great with him around the house and was great at entertaining him. If you want someone that is dependable she's perfect. If you want your child to be well watched and genuinely cared for you'll get that in her. I can't speak highly enough of her to put in words on here, but I've asked her to put me as a reference and if you are vetting her I've told her to give out my number. I'd be glad to give even more positive feedback on her. Only reason she's no longer with me is I gained flexibility through new parenting plan.
