I am looking to exit the corporate world to obtain my Master's degree online. I have been a Director in long term care for the past five years. I have helped implement care plans, directed care staff, and managed programs for both seniors and individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I was a Memory Care Director and have a passion for Alzheimer's and Dementia. I started as a F/T caregiver in college and fell in love with direct support work while finding management positions came naturally to assist caregivers with training and development. I have many years of childcare experience as well and enjoy working with children and their families to assist with every day needs. I have an active L1MA (Level 1 Medication Aide) and a now expired CPR/FA certification that I will be happy to renew.
