About Mackenzie

I hope you will consider joining my studio! I am a senior in classical guitar performance at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, with a strong background as a piano player as well. I have been the recipient of several awards and first prizes, as well as three summers on fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival. Some of my proudest moments have been watching the children and adults I work with completely change and open up in a matter of weeks, and realizing what will be a lifelong passion for music. I have past experience teaching children in groups at a public school in Los Angeles, as well as people of all ages individually as part of my own private studio. I am punctual, reliable, and communicative, and I currently have a very flexible schedule! I am comfortable and knowledgeable in teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar and piano.
