About Mackenzie

My name is MacKenzie and I am 26 years old. I began working with the Elderly when I was about 20 back in Illinois. I began as a volunteer which led me to dip my toes in the field by becoming a Dining Assistant at a Nursing Home. When I moved to Minnesota, I began my direct patient care work at Edgewood Assisted Living where I worked in both the Assisted Living as well as the Memory Care building. I did anything and everything from running to their mailboxes or helping get dressed all the way to feeding and bathing. I loved every second of it!! Unfortunately, I had to end my work there when I was pregnant with my daughter as it was too hard on my body at the time. While I love my current job, I am wanting to get back into doing what I love: Providing care for those who need a little extra help and nurturing the wonderful relationships that come along with it. As a new wife and mom, I lead a pretty busy life but please reach out and we can chat about a schedule that works for everyone!!
