Hello! My name is Mackenzie and I am 26 years old. I have loved working with kids for as long as I was able to babysit, and have been doing it ever since. I have over 10 years of experience providing child care, ranging from infants as young as 4-week-old, to preteens. I am calm, caring, patient and extremely reliable. While caring for children, I enjoy engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, reading, playing games, and spending time outside. I hold a masters degree in social work, and have worked with children in various capacities, such as interning at a preschool and with foster youth, working at middle school, and volunteering with children as a tutor/mentor. I am also vaccinated, as well as first aid/CPR certified. I am comfortable with pets, light housekeeping, cooking healthfully, and driving. Mackenzie is our favorite babysitter of all time! She is patient, kind, loving, and we all adore her. She follows all our rules, is punctual, super dependable and trustworthy. She has been an integral part of our village in raising our three kids. She started watching them when they were 4, 2, and 3 months old, and even with those busy ages, always handles things with a calm and pleasant approach. We crossed paths originally because of her internship at our son's preschool, and could not be more grateful for all the help, hours, and love she has given our family. We are going to miss her so dearly when she moves to Chicago, and cannot recommend her more highly to any lucky family that scoops her up.
