Hello! My name is Mackenzie and I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina. I moved to the city 3 years ago for graduate school, and now I work full time as an architectural designer. I have 2 years of experience as a full-time nanny for two children, ages 8 and 12. Although that was years ago, I still love caring for children. Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by kids. As of right now, I have 9 nieces and nephews (I am the youngest of five siblings) all under the age of 12. I absolutely love spending time with them! Additionally, I worked in summer camp's as a counselor for years prior to moving to NYC. Mackenzie has excellent communication and always ensures I feel like I never missed a beat with my kids. She genuinely cares about the development, happiness, health, and future of my children. She is not just a nanny, she has become a part of the family. Children pick up on everything around them so when finding a nanny it was very important to me to find someone who would influence my kids in the way I would want to even when I can't be there. Mackenzie is that person! She doesn't just ensure they do their homework, eat healthy, or go to bed on time; she ensures they understand why those things are important and encourages them to grow. She works with us to make sure we all help the kids be as successful and happy as possible every day. The kids absolutely love her because while she does enforce our rules she also listens to their stories, plays every game, and treats them as individuals. She is amazing!!!
