About Macie

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I know I have an influence on their future, and working with kids is never the same. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, and good at communicating. I started working with kids when I was 12 by helping out with my cousins and also with a friend's family. I began working with Highschool aged special education students in 10th grade, and took college level child development classes in 11th grade and am continuing them. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, visit family, read, do puzzles with my mom and cuddle my dogs and cats. One thing you should know about me is is my schedule is not set in stone. On weekdays I get out of school early and can be on my way to your house by 12:30! My skills include planning age appropriate lessons, cooking, as well as providing different care for each child depending on their needs.
