About Lydia

I'm an environmental educator at a nature preserve in North Raleigh and I am certified in CPR and First Aid through the City. I will soon also have my wilderness first responder certification! I love to spend time outside, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework (even math!) and am comfortable with kids of all ages. I'm happy to help with pet and house sitting while you're family is out of town too. I look forward to hearing from you! I do tend to answer children's questions in an age appropriate, but honest way. I'm willing to talk with parents about subjects they are uncomfortable with but generally I'm not one to avoid conversations about gender, consent, race, equity, etc. I also find that my relationship with the parent is just as important as the job details themselves.
