About Luriz

My most important values in regard to providing care for others are compassion, patience and attentiveness. As we age our bodies begin to argue with our brains creating an increasingly frustrating experience. My goal is to support my clients physically, emotionally and mentally throughout this trying time. I believe compassion is vital in making other people feel comfortable and safe. By practicing patience with a client I want them to have a sense of independence and stability in their day-to-day life. Which I have found essential if a client may have issues with mobility or Alzhimers/ Dementia. Something that I feel is a HUGE part of providing care is having an acute attention to detail. By learning the person(s) habits and tendencies I can better anticipate any adjustments in the help they needed. As well as keeping an eye on the effects of medications and their symptoms. I try to always be reliable, true to my word, and accessible.
