About Luella

I am 33 years old and the oldest of 14 children, so children have always been a vital part of my life. I night nursed at a small local clinic for several years and I have great experience with newborn care as well. I have ALWAYS wanted children of my own and consider them life's most precious gift. However, I am unable to have children of my own (to my greatest sorrow). Still, I have spent years of lavishing my affections upon other children. I assistant mothered (for lack of better terminology :) 2 girls for about 7 years, one of whom was mildly autistic and also had ADHD. I have volunteer taught homeschool (every grade from 2nd to 9th) since I was 16 years old. I have current CPR and First Aid responder certification. I love to cook and am creative in keeping the interest of children. This is just a brief outline.. my practical experience is so much more!
