Hey there, my name is Lucas and I've been working with child care since 2017! I worked as a live in nanny for two years before I moved to nyc where I found a family here on Care in 2019 to work with full time. We still work together but they don't need me every day anymore since both kids are in school all day now, we have a flexible schedule where I go 3/4 days a week in the afternoon. I also work freelance in fashion doing production and styling, but I'm reactivating my account to find flexible gigs and make some extra money. We have a 7 year old girl and a 4 year old boy, and Lucas is hands down the best babysitter we've ever had. He was our full time sitter over the summer holidays and still does occasional pickups and date nights. The kids just LOVE him and he engages and plays with them both on their own level's and as a team. He genuinely loves playing with kids, from choreographing K-POP dance routines (my daughter's new favorite thing) to playing legos for hours as well as coming up with all sorts of craft ideas. Very happy to take both kids on adventures into the city and handle full days out with both of them. He's always punctual, the apartment is always super tidy and picked up when we get home, and he's always in communication and totally capable. I would recommend Lucas unequivocally for anything from a date night to permanent position.
