About Louissa

Hi! I'm Louissa, I'm new to Ann Arbor and graduated from college in Dec 2022 (w/ a 3. 96 GPA). I am starting a Masters of Social Work at UMich in the fall and would love to do some childcare/tutoring work between then and now (and possibly continue part-time while studying). I have several years of childcare experience from high school as well as 3+ years of tutoring experience in both school and non-profit settings. My strongest subjects are ELA, writing, art, and Spanish but can easily help with math and science up to 8th grade level. In my free time I am a ceramicist as well as avid cook/baker and would love to bring my artistic and culinary skills into your home if needed/desired. In short, I am a patient, compassionate people-person looking to help kids and families get the help they need!
