About Lori

I have over 1 year of experience. I can help with transportation services, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning and errands/shopping. I have references on request. I love animals and can walk them also if needed. I am currently certified in first aid and CPR as well. A little about my experience... I worked with two gentlemen with varying degrees of IDD and physical limitations. We did crafts and cooked together almost every day. I also would read to them and play cards with them. I also helped them with bathing, shaving and medication prompting. Currently I am assisting a gentleman 1 to 2 times a week who has unfortunately lost the use of his legs completely from MS. I use a Hoyer lift and assist him with meals, toiletry and laundry and occasional light cleaning. I gave up corporate America several years ago and I love what I do now. Everyone who must depend on others deserve to be treated with compassion, understanding and allowing them to retain their dignity.
