About Lorie

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, cooperative and generous. I like working with kids because I look to see them learn and watch their innocence. I'm looking for a job that is part time, where I can bond with the child while teaching and caring for him or her. I started working with kids when I began substituting and tutoring two years ago. In my spare time, I like to work in my yard, volunteer at my church, spend time with family and friends and go to the beach to relax! One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian, first and foremost, and my faith is the most valuable asset of my life. It will, no doubt, come into play in any job that I take. My skills include tutoring in reading and helping with lessons, managing schedules to maintain a child's routine, and providing a loving, nurturing environment for the child.
