About Lizzie

I am a PhD candidate at USC studying to become a clinical psychologist. Prior to my graduate training, I was a teacher for four years--I spent two years as a third grade homeroom teacher and two years teaching 9th grade English at a private school. While teaching at the private school, I also ran the Learning Center, where I tutored students in grades 6-12 in Math, Science, and History in addition to helping them through all stages of the essay writing process. I also have three years of paid freelance experience helping students study for standardized tests and prepare personal statements, applications, and other application materials for college and graduate school. I earned a masters degree in psychology from Columbia and a bachelors degree from in English literature from Dartmouth.
