About Lizabeth

Hi, my name is Lizzy. I am a 31-year-old, retired medical professional and stay-at-home-mom of four. I have special needs kids and family members myself. I have significant experience in caring for medically complex and/or special needs children, adults with disabilities and the elderly. I am pet-friendly, a non-smoker with reliable transportation. Communicative in a few languages, expertise in non-verbal communication, behavioral challenges, trauma or sensory triggers and various neurological disorders. I went to school for Emergency & Trauma medicine and carry extensive experience with medical needs and safety precautions. I have worked previously as an in-home provider for elderly and disabled adults. I volunteer with DCF's foster-care unit, Federation of Children with Special Needs surrogacy program and am an active member of Mass Dept. of Education's special education advisory council. I am very passionate about supporting and assisting other families in anyway I can.
