About Lisa

I'm Lisa, a professional content writer. I was a University of Delaware Writing Center peer tutor and freelance writing coach for three years, working with students to help develop their academic writing and take academic admissions materials from brainstormed ideas to final products. I love helping writers of various ages create finished products they are proud of, and giving writing advice on one assignment that will benefit the writer in the next. I have worked in journalism, public relations, and medical education content writing. Additionally, I was a 2021 Tin House Scholar and 2021 Mendocino Coast Writers' Conference scholarship winner for my creative work. I've picked up skills through my widely-varied writing experience that I would love to share with other writers. I am looking to work with fourth- through 12th-grade students on writing, literary analysis, and academic/scholarship application essays or employment-related cover letters.
