I have been caring for children since I got my first babysitting job at age 11. I worked as a preschool assistant teacher all through college, and also worked as a nanny for countless families over the years. I spent the past decade teaching vocal music to 6th-12th graders in Oakland, CA. I love singing with children, and believe it is a wonderful tool for cultivating confidence, self-expression, resilience, joy, and more. I have cared for children from 3 months old through the teenage years and know how to engage in an age-appropriate manner, while believing in uplifting the dignity, safety and full humanity of a child at any age. I bring consistency, compassion, patience, and a love of nature, humanity and life itself.

Wow! Lisa has been such a blessing for our family! She has been consistently caring for our toddler for almost 9 months now and we all couldn't be happier. Every time that she spends time with our daughter, she brings a calm and caring presence. Lisa is very gentle and kind and has helped our little one learn how to manage her anxiety when separated from her parents. We unquestioningly trust Lisa to take our toddler on adventures to the beach, park, zoo, or wherever else she wants to go on any given day. Lisa is flexible with our schedule and has been exceptional at openly communicating with us whenever changes occur. I would hire Lisa again without hesitation.
