About Linell

Linell was my father's steadfast companion for several years during his Alzheimer's journey. She kept him connected to his beloved community and the outdoor activities he enjoyed, and provided essential care as the illness progressed and affected his daily functioning. She helped us understand his condition and make decisions that respected his wishes. Linell was a vital and constant presence throughout several difficult hospitalizations, and helped us navigate his increasingly complicated health care needs. Linell has a big heart and a great sense of humor. She helped my dad embrace a more warm and fun loving side, getting him involved in community activities and engaging with holidays in a new and wonderful way. At the same time she valued his intellect and his need for familiar activities. Her patience and compassion inspired all of us. Linell helped me navigate the difficult changes in my father and the stress of care giving. She became an essential member of our family.
