Hello! My name is Lindsey. I am positive, patient, and creative and working with children is what I was born to do. I am a Sac State graduate with experience working with kids newborn - 19 y. o. Experience: 1 year as an algebra tutor, 7 years as a nanny, 4 years as an after-school teacher, 15 years as a baby sitter, and 5 years as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism. A couple of things I have noticed many parents want to know: I adore children but have none of my own, yet. I love animals! I, myself, have 3 dogs. I have a reliable car and an excellent driving record! I am great with infants! (I've been called the baby whisperer by multiple people.) I am patient and nurturing, but am firm and consistent with following rules. I advocate for home cooked, healthy meals, so I am comfortable cooking snacks/meals for kiddos.

I have used Lindsey as my kids' sitter for years. She always arrives exactly on time and the kids are always excited to see her. When the kids were younger, Lindsey would do fun projects and activities with them. I would always come home to see the elaborate chalk worlds and car race tracks created on the back patio or hear about the games Lindsey made up for them that they now wanted to play with me. It was always nice knowing that when Lindsey was there, the kids would get healthy meals cooked for them. Now my son and daughter are too old to need a sitter but I still use Lindsey as a math tutor to help my daughter. She really struggles to understand math but when Lindsey comes over to help her, Lindsey's able to reexplain the material in ways my daughter can comprehend. We are very lucky to have her!
