About Lindsay

Children never fail to surprise me. Ever since I was able to have a job, I have opted for one that allowed me to work with children. Their loving, inquisitive nature never fails to put a smile on my face. I believe that kids not only learn from adults, but that adults can learn just as much from kids. I know that in the future I want to work with children in one form or another, hopefully either as a teacher or a child psychologist. Being around children makes me feel happy and alive, knowing I am making a difference for others as well as for myself. I have worked as an English teacher in both Spain and Thailand, in which my experiences were very different but equally rewarding. I worked as a nanny for two years with a wonderful family, and before that as a camp counselor. I have also volunteered with autistic children, which was a new and exciting experience.
