About Lindsay

Seniors hold a very special place in my heart. The stories they share are priceless and the wisdom they offer is gold. Growing up my grandmother was my best friend. As she aged, her dementia as well as her lack of use in her left arm due to complications from her polio vaccine as a child, required her to have more care than normal. She eventually suffered a severe stroke and was sent home on hospice. My mother was able to stay during the day and work from home so I could finish Dental Hygiene school and I was able to be there in the evenings. After her passing I finished my education and started my career as a Dental Hygienist. Once I had children of my own I gave up my license to practice Hygiene and stayed home to raise them. My children are now old enough they no longer need me round the clock and I am eager to return to work in a setting that continues to allow me to care for others in a more heart centered way, rather than being limited to oral hygiene.
