I have been a Math tutor for 4 years. I will be starting my third and final section of Calculus this fall and I am so excited. I enjoy Math and I help kids discover fun ways to learn and apply math that are usually lacking in a classroom environment. An example would be to go outside and measure the distance between where we stand and the top of a building using the Pythagorean theorem. These real world applications of classroom content tend to be much more engaging than just working the problem out on paper. I tutor other subjects as well such as Biology, lower level Spanish and Chemistry.
