About Linda

Hello! My name is Linda. I've cared for two families and worked for two after school programs with 18 kids ages 4-12. I'd be happy to help you with whatever you need. My job is to help keep the family running as smoothly as possible. I love to take the kids out of the house on small adventures. My personal mission is to help children explore a world beyond their status quo to stretch their imagination and nurture creative thinking. I spend hours creating games and activities tailored to each child's interests. There are a few things I've learned during my career 1. If I'm on time I'm already late. 2. Things should look better when I leave than when I arrived. 3. Respect is something everyone deserves even when it's difficult 4. Patients is a learning tool. 5. Be flexible. Things change. 6. Be kind to everyone. I have a BA in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. I love dogs and I adopted a little one in June. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Linda
