About Linda

I was a teacher working with special needs children for almost 30 years. I have 2 of my own children I adopted who are special needs. I love all animals and have both 2 dogs and several cats. I love working with children. I grew up a farm kid in rural Northern Iowa. I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and firm. I'm looking for a job that is an occasional babysitting job. I work 2 other jobs but still have quite a bit of free time. My children are grown now and I enjoy staying busy I started working with kids when I was 10 years old. I babysat for 25 cents an hour and by the time I left for college, I had saved enough to buy a car. In my spare time, I like to read, walk along the river, bike, do crafts, sew quilts etc One thing you should know about me is I love God. I believe serving God is an everyday thing and I love caring for His people! My skills include tutoring homework , infant care, and playing with kids either outside or games inside.
