I'm an empty-nester with two grown daughters and was a stay at home mom and loved it. I am looking forward to becoming a grandmother in the future but enjoy being around children as I miss it. I have been an occasional babysitter for various families after school and evenings. Last year, I took care of a 10-month-old boy twice a week for a couple of months... taking him for walks, reading and playing with him as well as feeding him a bottle, lunch and putting him down for a nap. I currently pick up two sisters, 8 & 11 after school 4 days a week, since ; last November, take them home, supervise homework and drive them to various activities. Pet Care: I have had two cats, and a small dog, named Chloe, a Shi-Tzu Poodle mix who passed away 5 yrs. ago at 15 1/2. I love all animals and am a vegetarian because I love them so much! I have done some small dog and cat sitting as well as taken care of a very cool hairless Guinea Pig... named Ducky!

Linda was very engaged with our one year old child. She sang and played with him, and took him on long walks. He really enjoyed the time spent with her. His favorite book is one she got him for his birthday, which was really sweet of her. She is also good with pets in the house.
