Having worked as a special needs caregiver for children with developmental disabilities, I understand the importance of creating an enriching learning environment that supports their individual needs. However, my present interest lies in companionship with seniors. Consequently, as a seasoned caregiver for a special needs senior, my role is multifaceted and all-encompassing. I offer companionship and emotional support, participating in shared activities and engaging in conversations that uplift their spirits. I assist with daily household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry, to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. I manage financial aspects like bills and insurance claims, ensuring timely payments and successful claim processing. In terms of personal care, I help with activities of daily living such as dressing, toileting, eating, and mobility. I also perform various healthcare tasks, including home-based nursing procedures, administering medications, and beyond.
