I recently left a full-time preschool teacher position at a large, private preschool after 5 years. I am currently working part-time with a small group of children in a kindergarten-readiness program through IRCO, so that I can also work on my dream of illustrating cookbooks. I also have a great deal of experience with newborns, babies and toddlers. Meal preparation, administration of medication and services, tutoring, thoughtful behavior management, and activity facilitation are all things that I am experienced in and comfortable with. I am CPR/AED, first aid and food-handling certified. I am enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry and have logged 75. 5 hours of accredited professional development in Oregon. I hold a provisional teaching license from the state of Wisconsin.

I'm Lily's mother, and I may be biased, So I will tell you what others say to me about my daughter. She is one of those people that has always known the difference between right and wrong. We reinforced that raising her, but it wasn't really necessary. She has an innate idea of how to behave and what integrity is. Over the years since Lily has babysat and nannied for various friends of both myself and her father. In fact when she was only 11 one of our friends asked that she be a mother's helper and she spent the entire summer with our friend and her new baby. The mother, still talks about how intuitive and kind and patient Lily was with the baby. We are still close friends with that family. Every day I'm proud of Lilka and proud of the woman that she has become. I know that she would be not just an asset to a family but exactly what they had hoped for.
