About Libby

I understand the value of love & cherish the families who share their lives with me. My preferred caretaking style is conscious and have found it to be the most effective in establishing mutual respect. I am reliable, trustworthy, attentive & provide little buddies with comfort while encouraging independence. I am able to meet people on their level regardless of age and/or mind-state & have them feel at home with me. I prefer to be outside & would much rather nurture exploration than sit them down in front of a screen. I love the ocean, hiking, camping, eating/cooking healthy, reading, music, manners & treating everyone including all animals respectfully. I try to model leaving things in better shape than how I find them. My recent employment has been doing crisis intervention for community members (& visitors) experiencing trauma. Now more than ever I believe in autonomy, empowerment, and clear communication for all ages, cultures and genders.
