About Lexi

Hi, I'm Alexis but you can call me Lexi. I am 24 years old. I obtained my degree in psychology at The University of Illinois of Chicago. I started my education journey studying early child development to become an elementary teacher. I learned so much about the developing mind, that it led me to wanting to work more one on one with children and young adults through the action of therapy. As the youngest of five, I know how hectic life can be for developing children. I've worked with children my entire career. When I attended High School I helped with the community preschool, I helped the children learn and made lesson plans. After that I went on to be a student teacher for a second and third grade class. My most recent job was working at a multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic for children on the spectrum in Chicago. I am looking for a fun loving family that I can grow with and use my experience to better children's lives.
