About Leslie

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and playful I like working with kids because they bring out the best in me. They are joyous and lively. I can't have a bad day around their energy and creativity. I'm looking for a job that is stable and has a healthy work environment. I'm a very open person and willing to adapt to your family accordingly. I just want mutual respect and positivity. I started working with kids when I was 11. I started helping out with my cousins and my own siblings. I come from a large family with children who are neurodivergent. I later took my skills and started branching out to other families. I have worked with children as young as a few months old all the way up to 13. I have worked with children of various abilities including autism, adhd, and speech delayed/ non verbal. My skills include adapting quickly to a child's needs and routine, creating fun games and activities, active listening, gentle teaching, and embracing creativity.
