About Lene

In high school I decided to help out at a family friends daycare, it was such an enjoyable experience working with so many different age ranges. As an older sister, taking care of others is something I've always done and love to do, I am patient with others, kind and perceptive to their needs. I love to engage a child's creative mind through art, nature, games and crafts. I can help with cooking, meal prep, laundry, helping to keep them on track with their homeschooling schedule/ homework and other things to help if requested. I enjoy creating a fun and safe environment that allows kids to express themselves freely, while learning the importance of being kind and respectful to others. I know the basics of Spanish, as my mother speaks Spanish, but am not fluent. I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for a couple of years and am at a learner level. I love to give back to others so I engage in a lot of volunteer work in the community including construction.
