About Leia

Hi there, I'm Leia. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Development with a focus on Child Development and Family Studies. I have been working with children for over 10 years and have experience with ages ranging from 6 months to 12 years. Caring for children is an absolute passion of mine and encouraging positive development is a huge priority for me. I currently work full time for Lakeshore Learning and looking to take on some extra hours that my job can't provide. I have a breadth of childcare knowledge and experience. Prior to accepting my current role, I worked as a head start supervisor for a program that served 40 children and families. Ideally, temporary care for special occasions or date nights work best for me but I am also open to creating a regular schedule as long as it fits with my work hours.
