About Leah

- The last children I looked after begged their mother to leave the house more so I could come over and "play with them" - I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies and a minor in International Studies - The goal I am working towards is moving to Spain to be an Au Pair for a family and become 100% fluent in Spanish - My last semester in college, I had the amazing opportunity to take a course that met half in a classroom on campus learning about the history and culture of Spain and the other half at a preschool, making lesson plans and teaching (with 2 peers) a group of 4-6-year-olds 30 min of Spanish every Thursday for 8 weeks - I grew up with a lot of younger family members and friends of family and from age 14 I was known as the "designated sitter" - I take the responsibility of caring for other's well being -especially those of children, toddlers, and babies- extremely seriously and find it incredibly gratifying
